🐤 THE STORY BEHIND OUR DUCKS 🛁

When we first got the keys to our original FABRIKA location, we had no idea what we’d find inside. Among the dust and debris of reconstruction, we discovered something unexpected: a giant bag of yellow rubber ducks.

As a joke, we started placing them at the bar and decorating a few cocktails with them. To our surprise, people LOVED them. Guests started snapping photos with the ducks, asking to take them home… and soon, they began bringing us ducks of their own—from glittery ones to glow-in-the-dark and everything in between.

​

What started as a silly joke quickly turned into something bigger—a symbol of the spirit of FABRIKA. So when we opened METRO by FABRIKA, of course, the duck had to come with us. We even dedicated and entire wall and a cocktail to it—our beloved Fabri Bubble Bath, served in its very own mini bathtub.

Here’s the twist: we later discovered that yellow rubber ducks actually carry meaning. They symbolize innocence, playfulness, comfort, and nostalgia. Calmly floating on water, they’re tiny beacons of peace in chaotic times. Rubber ducks evoke happiness and childhood memories, offering comfort to people of all ages, backgrounds, and walks of life—no politics, just pure joy. Quirky, fun, and full of character—JUST LIKE US!.

​So take a selfie. Take a duck or better yet bring one to leave behind.
Because here at METRO by FABRIKA, the duck isn't just decoration—it’s part of the family.

🐤LA HISTORIA DETRAS DE NUESTROS PATITOS🛁
Cuando recibimos las llaves de nuestra ubicación original de FABRIKA, no teníamos idea de lo que encontraríamos dentro. Entre el polvo y los escombros de la reconstrucción, descubrimos algo inesperado: una bolsa gigante de patitos de goma amarillos.

Como una broma, empezamos a colocarlos en la barra y a decorar algunos cócteles con ellos. Para nuestra sorpresa, a la gente LE ENCANTARON. Los invitados comenzaron a tomarse fotos con los patitos, pidiéndonos que los llevaran a casa... y pronto, comenzaron a traernos patitos propios, de todos los colores y sabores.

Lo que comenzó como una tontería rápidamente se convirtió en algo más grande: un símbolo del espíritu de FABRIKA. Así que, cuando abrimos METRO by FABRIKA, por supuesto, el pato tuvo que venir con nosotros. Incluso le dedicamos una pared completa y un cóctel: nuestro querido Fabri Bubble Bath, servido en su propia mini bañera.
 

Y aquí viene la sorpresa: después nos enteramos de que los patitos de goma amarillos en realidad tienen un significado. Simbolizan la inocencia, la diversión, la nostalgia y la comodidad. Flotando con calma sobre el agua, son pequeños faros de paz en tiempos caóticos. Los patitos evocan felicidad y recuerdos de la infancia, brindando consuelo a personas de todas las edades, nacionalidades y orígenes—sin distinción política, solo alegría pura. Peculiares, divertidos y llenos de personalidad—IGUAL QUE NOSOTROS! 

Así que, ¡tómate una foto! ¡Llévate un pato! O trae uno para dejarlo atrás.
Porque aquí en METRO by FABRIKA, el pato no es solo decoración—es parte de la familia.
